Get Paparazzi-Perfect Skin
While a touch of tinted moisturiser might be good for a day spent shopping. It won't cut it in front of a camera lens. Use these simple basic tips and you'll have skin that'll standout in all your photos.
Prime: Prime your skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising. Wait 10 mintues for your moisturiser to absorb before using foundation, to ensure it stays put.
Matte: Use a matte-finish foundation. Dab some on your nose and blend across your cheeks. Dot some on your chin, blending along the jaw line downwards, then to the area between your eyebrows, blending up and across your forehead.
Conceal: Dot a little concealer under your eyes from the inner contour that meets your nose to the dark areas underneath. Blend gently dabbing, not rubbing, the concealer in. Use sparingly on any red spots.
Set: Powder is the key to making your skin photo-friendly. It controls shine and makes sure your base doesnt slip off your face. Apply loose or pressed powder but if your using a brush, blow any excess powder off it before you start. Use sweeping, upwards strokes all over your face. Then finish with downward strokes.
Blush: Apply a powder blush with a decent size brush after foundation and powder (use a cream blush before powder). Start on the apples of your cheeks and blend up your cheekbone to your hairline.
