Chinese Tattoos
Chinese tattoos are usually symbols for peace, love, joy, happiness, serenity and things of that sort. However Yueh Fei is noted as the most famous tattoo in Chinese history.
History of Chinese Tattoos
A brief little history lesson tells us that Yueh Fei was a famous general in the south song dynasty. He served under a field marshal, who became a traitor and worked for the enemy. Yueh fei wad displeased with the disloyalty with his fellow solider, therefore he got off the battlefield and went to care for his sick mother. However his mother was not pleased with his decision and told him that he needed to go back and fight for his country, because that was the number one duty that should be followed by a solider. His mom was so adamant about fighting for one's country that she tattooed her sons back so he would never forget. The tattoo on his back which was read from left to right consisted of four words which would translate from word for word which were "the most, the ultimate, loyalty, country. As you can see his mother was a serious patriot .
