Rosacea - Info on Rosacea Symptom, Causes & Treatment

Rosacea is a chronic skin state which involves irritation on the cheeks, nose, chin, eyelids or forehead. Redness appears on skin, swelling, or skin eruption same as acne. Rosacea affects the skin on the face more than anywhere else. Rosacea is often confused with other skin conditions, such as acne and dermatitis , since there are many that have reddening as a primary symptom. In more advanced cases, a condition called rhinophyma may develop. 

What causes Rosacea?

The cause of Rosacea disease is unknown, In addition to heredity being a factor, studies have shown that ethnicity may play a role in a patient's predisposition to develop rosacea. There are more changes to develop this harmless skin disorder if

. Your skin is fair.
. You are a woman because men are harshly affected.
. Your age is between 30 and 50.
. Your face will become red.
It involves magnification of the vessels just beneath the skin and may be connected with other skin and eye problems.

Rosacea Treatment and Cure

One of the most common treatments available to those who suffer from rosacea are Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline). Although there is no cure for the symptoms of rosacea, there are many things that patients can do in order to ensure that flare ups are infrequent.  Knowing what triggers outbreaks and how to properly deal with them is key to living a successful life with rosacea. As the cure is unknown so we should go for the precautions :

* Sun exposure should be avoided.
* Avoid long drawn out in the sun.
* Try to diminish stress. Do exercise like yoga.
* Avoid spicy food stuffs, alcohol and hot drinks.
