Summer Makeup Ideas
We all love doing make up in order to look great and that is why we keep on experimenting with the color palates, different cosmetics and styles. But when it comes to wearing make up in summers it becomes a bit difficult as because of humidity one has to cut down on many cosmetics through out the season and still look good. But this does not mean that one does not have many choices for make up in summer season.
All you need to do is follow up some simple steps and ideas and one can look real trendy and cool with summer make up on.
First of all, just ensure that you just completely stay away from foundation in summers. And if, by any chance it is a must for you to use it then go for an oil free one and combine it with loose powder to cover the freckles. Apply ice on your face for five minutes before applying make up on your skin. This therapy helps your make up last long on your skin. Use bronzer with shimmer to add glow to your face. Moving on to the colors that are best in summers; it is advised that one shall go for light shades, even if it has to be an evening party.
For lips, transparent gloss or any light shade in pink, peach and orange would do. Matte and a glitter lipstick is a better option in summers. Eyes shall be done in a way that they do not look overdone. Do not use thick line eyeliner and instead go for a liquid eyeliner and raise a thin line above the lashes.
Use a good quality waterproof mascara so that it does not spread with sweat. Cream based eye shadows are considered to be better in summers as compared to powdered one's. You can choose any of them depending upon your choice and comfort.
Stay away from dark colors like red, purple, chocolate brown, maroon etc and rather go for bright shades like golden, yellow, lavender, lilac, sea green and ocean blue. Along with make up, take care of your tresses too as they normally get frizzy during summer season and make you look pathetic even if you are wearing the perfect make up. Keep them tidy and tied to have a neat look. To complete the look use light colors on your cheekbones and chin.
