Makeup That Makes Dark Skin Glow

Makeup is essential for day to day beauty regimen of a woman. It is mandatory to highlight features and to present a better you in front of people. Makeup is an art to look good but if done incorrectly, it can make you look even worse. For fair skinner people, it is an easy job to search for appropriate shade but things get tough when it comes to searching for makeup shades for women with dark skin tone. The first thing that women with dark skin tone should do when they go to shop for makeup is to understand the compatibility of shade with their skin tone.

Base makeup that makes the dark skin glow

The most important thing in a makeup is the base. So it is essential that you choose correct foundation, concealer and loose powder. While applying, keep the amount of all these minimal. Do not overdo the base as then your natural look would just fade away. If you are confused over the base make up shade, then just apply foundation over your wrist and then look for the one that matches with it. When you have found it, you are done.

Then after base, it is time for blush on. These make the cheek area attractive. For dark skin tone, you must avoid bronze, orange and golden blush ons. Instead, go for natural ones like very light pink and red. Just for the sake of being highly sure, take tester and apply a bit over cheeks and look for the shade that suits you the best.

Eye makeup that makes dark skin glow

After all this, eye makeup is where the need of correct shades, brushes and imagination is needed. At night time, you can go for dark shades like olive green, deep blue, smoke shade, chocolate brown and sometimes purples but its shade must be perfectly matching with skin tone and should go with your attire as well. As for mascara and kajal, do not apply much if you are applying eye shadow. Also, try to stick to only blue and black mascara.

For the lips, never ever go for light shades. It would look plastic. Just go for darker shades of pink, brown, reds, purple and magenta. Also, apply moisturizing lipstick before applying it and the end the process with application of lip gloss. So this is how you must choose makeup for dark skin so that it looks good on your skin tone.
