Makeup for Dry Sensitive Skin

Makeup is an essential part of women's life. It helps women to hide flaws and get a better looking personality. There are two types of skin. One is oily and the other one is dry. The third one is a combination of the two of them and that is normal skin. Dry ski is generally very sensitive and this is why choosing makeup for the dry skin is very difficult.

It is said that people with sensitive skin must apply minimal makeup but if you really can not avoid using it, here are some solutions through which you can buy makeup for dry sensitive skin.

Base makeup for dry sensitive skin

vAs for the selection of shades of base makeup for dry sensitive skin, the first thing that you should keep in mind is the intensity of dryness on your face and neck.

If you have itching over face then it is suggested to use moisturizer or calamine lotion for the base makeup. This way your skin gets a base coat which shines and does the work of foundation even if you do not get the same look. Even though dry skin hardly has marks or pimples but in case you have it, use a bit of concealer over them and also for dark circles. Make sure that its shade matches with your skin tone.

Eye and lip makeup for dry skin

Lips add glamour to face which is why special attention is needed for them. If you have small lips them make them look fuller with the application of lip liner, several coats of lipstick and finally a coat of lip gloss. Minimize the coats of lipstick if you have big lips.

Also keep the light shades for daytime and darker ones for night. Remember to match the shade with your attire and keep a track of your skin tone. Do not go for dark shades with fair skin tone or light shade with dark skin tone. Pink, oranges and reds are evergreen shades but they have density of darkness which needs to be considered by you when you shop for lipsticks.

The same rules go for eye makeup. However, the eye makeup is more dependent on the use of brushes and sense of making combinations.

Match the makeup with color of attire. For dark skin tone, keep the shades like chocolate browns, olive green, etc in palette and for fair skin tone, anything would do. Since your skin is dry, use cream based eye makeup.

For blush, keep it basic and cream based.

So this is how you shop for makeup for dry skin.
