Chinese Fashion Makeup
Chinese fashion make up is known for its style, elegance and its chick type look that it gives to you. The make up techniques in china keeps changing along with the fashion trend but still the make up artists in china mainly prefer to keep Chinese fashion makeup soft, subtle but then too trendy and bright.
It is not that easy to get the perfect look when it comes to Chinese make up as a wrong combination of color and overuse or under use of a particular cosmetic can prove to be a blunder. So you must know how to apply and what to apply thoroughly.
Tips on Chinese fashion make up:
For the base, the color of the foundation that you use shall be white or very light to easily cover the freckles and other imperfections on the face. Usually Chinese make up base is kept very light and matching to the skin tone. Concealer needs to be applied under the eyes and on the eyelids. Cover the under eye area properly and the sides of the nose too.
For eye make up, since the eyes are not very big; bold look is preferred so that the eyes appear to be big. Use bold colors like black, blue, golden, green, deep yellow, silver and shades of gray to enhance the look of your eyes. Extra importance is given to the eyes in Chinese fashion make up because the lip part is kept to be natural and light.
Black and deep blue colored eyeliner is the best for Chinese eyes. Apply a thick layer of the liquid cum waterproof liner under the eyes as well as above the eyes stretching it outwards to form a thin line. Now curl your lashes and use a good quality black mascara and apply at least three to four layers to complete the look in your eyes. You can use as much of shimmer as you want while applying eye shadow and can also go for fake eye lashes.
The softer side of Chinese makeup:
Eye part is always bold in Chinese makeup but lip section and cheekbone section is light. You should go for pale colors like light baby pink, soft red, peach, plum etc for cheek apples. These colors will make you look natural and would also compliment the heavily done eyes.
For lips too, light colors are advised or even better if you go for a complete translucent lip gloss.
