Astringent Lotions - Homemade Astringent Lotion

Are you an oily skin individual? You do not need to worry; there are some outstanding lotions that you can use to suit your skin type. One of such lotion is astringent lotion.

Primarily, astringent lotion is meant to open the pores of one's skin in the event that they were or are closed by the oil secreting from the skin. The lotion is mainly composed of alum, glycerin and water. While the above is true, you can still come up with an equivalent astringent lotion at home.

Here is one of the simplest and efficient way of coming up with astringent lotion.

Gather a combination of two tea spoonful of: nutmeg, honey and coriander seed. This combination should be accompanied by four tea spoonful of orange flower water and grated lemon peel. Now you will be some few steps away from obtaining your lotion. With a tea spoonful of cloves, eight tea spoonful of alcohol and half a tea spoonful of benzoin and some few drop of rose water and storax, you will be in the position of mixing all of them to successful obtain your lotion.

Once all these have been accomplished, you will have to make use of the home based astringent lotion in duration not less than two days. The direction for use are very simple: obtain a clean, smooth cotton pad and gently wet it with some few drops of the lotion, then wipe your face and neck, while at the same time make sure that you avoid your eyes and mouth.
