Colored mascara to give more expression to your eyes

What is color Mascara?

Color mascara is a cosmetic style that keeps fluctuating always. Colored mascara helps in highlighting the color of your eyes and gives a theatrical edge to your makeup. It also gives volume and depth to the eyelashes, while separating it. It is found either as a cake or in cream form.

Various Color Mascare Shades

Blue mascara: It gained its popularity in eighties and varies from electric blue hues to regal turquoise peacock shades. Blue mascara suits blue eyes. Even women who have hazel or brown eyes can wear blue mascara.

Purple mascara: It gives a dramatic impact which is more effective on hazel or green eyes. A rich plum shade can give a sophisticated look. It goes well with berry eye shadows and chocolate brown eyeliner. It is a summer makeup that gives a very good impact on bronzed skin.

How to choose the right colored mascara?

Choose the color of your mascara as according to the color of your hair. Black mascara will suit brunettes whereas fair-haired women look dashing in brown mascara. It is advisable not to choose colored mascara if you are in a conservative outfit, especially in a workplace. If your purpose is to have fun in evening, then use colored ones.

How to apply colored mascara?

To make the eye lashes appear thicker, longer, separated and more expressive, you need to apply the color on the wand and then stroke it from the base to the tips of the upper lashes.

Always remember that while you apply mascara, it has to be from the under of the wand which has to be placed horizontally parallel to the eyelid and then you have to roll the brush slowly towards up.

Remember to use less mascara on the lower lashes and extra color has to be removed using tissue paper.
