A stress is an internal or external factor that makes demand on and individual and tends to distract homeostasis. Stress has 2 categories it can be a good stress or eustress and distress that causes imbalance. This can either be cause by physical trauma, a disease, social events and situations. There are top six stressor areas in life. Relationship is one area in life that can cause stress by friends, spouse and parents. Financial problems can lead to stress and depression while health can be a major source of stress. Careers that can be emotionally abusive work in a stressful environment and at home that affects the interpersonal relationship.

Person who is very stress in life manifests certain signs and symptoms this are lack of interest in eating, doing their jobs properly and even cannot perform personal hygiene. Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, weight loss can be physical symptoms of stress. It can also lead to hypotension, tachycardia and tachypnea. Dangerous effects are anxiety which is an unpleasant emotion that characterize by terms as worry, apprehension, tension and fear. Anger and aggression are common reaction to stressor which could lead to psychological symptoms. Cognitive impairment one of the worse effects of stress can lead to more serious problems in the future. Psychological symptoms can be major depression and if it's a serious type of stress this can lead to suicide.

There are seven mediators of stress, first physiological reactivity that helps to increase the blood pressure, stabilize the hormones and promotes relaxation for the body. Cognitive approach that determines the severity of a stressor that helps the client interprets the effect of the stressor. Feeling of control was the client will have to balance the relationship between the good and bad stressor.

This can all be prevented if the person handling the stress has an optimistic view of life and have a great strategy on how to handle a stress in everyday's lives. Spending time at the SPA is one of the great ways to promote relaxation for body and mind. Buying a stress ball which you can bring anywhere and by simply holding the stress ball helps lessen the stress. Writing all the stressors in a piece of paper and burning it is proven to give a peace of mind. Going to a vacation like to the beach or beautiful sceneries and spending more time to yourself will make you feel rejuvenated. It is important to avoid places that can cause more stress like the market. Make a plan or set appointments on work to decrease workloads and stress. Letting to vent out of what you feel and attending counseling will be the most effective way to prevent stress.
