Ringworm

The two common names of ringworm are tinea pedis and athletes foot. This is the most known fungal dermatosis that affects the spaces between the toes, the soles and the sides of the feet. The organisms that cause athletes foot are tinea mentagrophytes and tinea rubrum. Tinea pedis can occur alone or with another combination of other fungal skin infections such as tinea corporis and tinea cruris. Most common person that gets affected by ringworm is those who always wear closed shoes and shocks and no proper feet care is given.

This is describing by having lesions that vary from mildly scaling lesion to a painful, exudative, inflamed lesion with fissuring and erosive. Lesions are often associated with foul smell, pruritis and pain. Mild forms are common during dry environmental conditions. Some persons are common to chronic tinea pedis. Exacerbations occur because of hot weather, sweating, exercise, occlusive shoes, communal swimming and moist environments.

To treat the manifestations several simple ways can be done at home and topical ointments are available. One of the most common medications prescribed to clients who have chronic tinea pedis are ketoconazole and terbinafine. This is available in the form of ointments and before you will apply to your foot make sure that you wash it properly and dry. Let the medication absorbed by the skin, after several days of continue use the result will be less odor and itching.

For natural remedies who have acute athletes foot soak your foot to a lukewarm water with a teaspoon of vinegar then soak it for at least fifteen minutes, you can repeat this often and make sure to dry your feet after you soak.

A little change in lifestyle is needed as if if you wear a closed shoe for almost six hours let it rest for about two hours before you will wash. Change in socks, slippers and even shoes should be implemented. To prevent the spread of this infection to other parts of the body you must use a separate towel when you dry up your feet.

Do not share slippers, shocks and other paraphernalia's for the foot such as cleaning materials. Applying drying agents as prescribed by dermatologists is needed like application of medicated and non-medicated talcum powder. This can be applied directly to the feet or to the socks and shoes. It is important to maintain clean and trim the toes. Always wear a clean and dry sock.

There is no need to spend a lot of money to give solution to your ringworm all you need is awareness, prioritize your body needs, and maintain a good practice of hygiene. Going to spa to have a foot massage is a great help to reduce recurrence of feet problem as long as you can handle the payment.
