An example of combining the vintage hairstyles with the vintage clothing and makeup can be seen in the show, "The '70's Show." In this show, the hair is strait out of the 1970's, as is the clothing and the make up. The hair is wild and expressive, often showing a flip and the afro being prominent. The clothing featured a lot of bell bottom styles and high waists. The shoes featured platforms and brighter colors. The makeup was simple and natural while at the same time showing hints of color and highlighting.
Vintage Hairstyles Tips
As with all vintage items, the popularity of vintage items fluxgates. A vintage item or hairstyle can be popular for a decade or longer and then suddenly drop from sight. This vintage hairstyle is almost always rediscovered and modernized in some form or another so that it lives again.
