Half Updo Hairstyles
Half updo's are very popular with those who are trying to be both efficient yet cute. Such hairstyles most often include the half pony tail, although hair that is slightly pulled back or hair that is divided into two sections also fits the criteria to be half updo's.
Half Updos Hairstyle Ideas
The idea of a half updo hairstyle is that the hair on one half of the head is doing something than the hair on the opposite side of the head. This can be the top and bottom half, the front and back half, or a combination of the two halves. The most common of half updo hairstyles includes the ponytail in which the top half of the hair is pulled back and the bottom half is left to hang.
The ponytail hairstyles can be dressed up by adding either a bun or by adding flowers of jewels. This is very common for younger girls who are still in school.
Pull Back Half Updo Hairstyles
The same concept can be applied with another hairstyle of ponytail. In this style, the pony tail consists of the hair from the front of the head. The hair from the back of the head is then left dangling. Again this half updo hairstyle can be dressed up with a bun, flowers, or jewels. Again this type of updos are very popular with the younger girls, although young adults have been seen to sport this style as well.
Curly Hair Half Updos
Other half updo's include curls in which only half of the hair is curled and pinned up and twists. The twists tend to be interesting since the hair stylists is attempting to create a crown of hair in a gentle twisting fashion from half of the hair while leaving the rest of the hair down.
