Depression is caused in many cases because of stress or trauma. These are sometimes people who have experienced accidents, illnesses, or even deaths. Dealing with situations that they deem as dangerous will result in anxiety. This type of anxiety is connected to their past or what they believe could happen in the future.

Treatment for depression and the anxiety that it causes is wide spread. There are therapy options for patients to participate in. Medications, such as, antidepressants are used in the treatment process. They have proven helpful when dealing with symptoms like anxiety.
