How to Apply Makeup , Cool skin, blonde hair Make up Application Tips

If your skin type is cool and hair color is blonde and your are looking for makeup tips, then this is the right place for you. With your porcelain complexion and pale hair, you should go for baby pastel tones with sheer formulations and a hint of shimmer. This way you will flatter colouring with a light, fresh smoky make-up look, without overpowering it. Here are some tips on how to apply makeup for Cool SKin and Blonde Hair.

How to Apply Makeup

1. Applying Moisturizer - Your delicate skin doe snot need heavy coverage, so use a light tinted moisturizer. Dot it lightly onto your nose, cheeks, forehead and chin, then blend it in with your fingertips.

2. Applying Busher - Cool pink blusher will give a soft glow to skin. Dot onto cheeks, then blend with your fingertips. Either skin powder to leave your skin with a dewy glow or gently dust a little over your face.

3. Applying eyeshadow - Take a baby blue eyeshadow onto an eyeshadow brush and sweep it evenly over your entire eyelid. Stroke the brush gently over eyelid a few times until you have swept away any obvious edges to the eyeshadow.

4. Sweep a shimmery ivory shadow from the crease in your eyelid up towards the eyebrow bone to open up the eye area.

5. Eyebrow Shaping - Stroke your eyebrow into shape with an eyebrow brush. This will also flick away any powder that is got caught in the hairs.

6. Applying lipstick - Cool pink lipstick should be applied with a lipbrush. If you like, you can slick a little lipgloss or lip balm on the top for a sexy shimmer look.

This Look and Makeup Tips suits you if -

  • you have pale blonde to mousy hair
  • your eyes are blue, grey, hazel or green
  • you have pale skin, including whiter-than-white, ivory or a pinky "engligh rose" complexion

Blue Eyeshadow Tip: If you are older or unsure about wearing blue eyeshadow, swap it for a cool grey one. This will create the same soft effect, but it is more subtle. You may prefer to swtich to matte ivory instead of shimmery eyeshadow.
