How to Apply Makeup for cool skin, dark hair, Make up Application Tips

Pale-skinned brunettes look fabulous with strong, cool shades of cosmetics. The density of colour provides a striking contrast to ivory skin-tones, while their coolness toness in beautifully with your natural beauty. Here are some tips on how to apply makeup for Warm SKin and dark Hair.

How to Apply Makeup

1. Applying Foundation - Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer. Whichever you use it is likely you will need the palest of shades. Blend in a few dots of blusher. Dust with loose powder.

2. Applying Eyeshadow - Smudge a cool ivory shadow over your eyelids, right up to your eyebrows. Stroke over it with a cotton bud to blend it if you find it gathers in creases.

3. Add extra defination with atouch of mocha eyeshadow on your eyelids. This shade works beautifully on your cool colouring and emphasizes the color of your eyes.

4. Applying Mascara - Now move onto your eyelashes. You need to apply two thin coats of black mascara to create a wonderful frame to your eyes.

5. Shaping Eyebrows - Slick your eyebrows into place with an eyebrow brush. If they tend to look untidy, hold them in place by spritzing the brush with a little hairspray first.

6. Applying lipstick - Choose a clear shade of berry lipstick to give your look a polished finish. Blot after one coat with a tissue, then re-apply to help a longer laster finish.

This Look and Makeup Tips suits you if -

  • you have medium to dark brown hair
  • your eyes are brown, blue, grey or green
  • you have a cool, China doll skin tone, that tans slowly in the sun

Mascara Tip: To stop your mascara from clogging, wiggle the mascara wand from side to side as you pull it through your lashes.
