Ingrown Hair, What is Ingrown Hair Problem and Treatment

I uses various hair removal methods for removing my hair on leg, bikini and public hair. I am experiencing a red pimple-like bump on my leg and bikini line. Is that ingrwon hair?

Ingrown Hair

If you've experienced a red pimple-like bump on your leg, underarm, or bikini line, you've probably had an ingrown hair.

Ingrown Hair is a hair that has grown sideways, forcing the hair's tip to lodge into the follicle wall.

To prevent the Ingrown Hair problem, try daily exfoliation with a grainy scrub or sponge, followed by an application of body lotion that contains a high percentage of salicylic or glycolic acid.

To treat an ingrown hair, don't pick! Keep up the exfoliation treatments and dab on an acne cream containing benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid twice a day.
